Triple Layer Mud Pie Recipe

Well I use to never bake or hardly even cook for that matter but when I became a mother I had this urge to be able to cook meals for my children and family....so when I had the money I would experiment a bit. I recently ran across a Kraft cooking magazine amongst all my mother in laws magazine and found this awesome recipe for a Triple Layer Mud Pie! It's easy and cheap to make....I'll be showing pictures and step by step instructions on how to make this dessert!

You will need:

1 Oreo Pie Crust (6oz)
1/4cup canned sweetened condensed milk
3 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
1/2 cup Chopped Pecans, toasted(Optional)
2cups 2%milk
2 small boxes of instant chocolate pudding
1 tub Cool-Whip

Step 1
Melt the chocolate squares, you may do this in a small pot on the stove or if you don't wanna heat your house up I put them in a small bowl and add a bit of water and put it in the microwave for about 1min and then stir and put back in as needed.
Step 2
Mix chocolate and condensed milk, should look nice and creamy when done. Pour this into the crust. I take a spoon and smooth it around to make sure the whole crust has a good coating.

Step 3
If you want nuts in your pie now you can sprinkle them into the pie crust

In a mixing bowl combine the pudding mixes and the milk, beat until it's not lumpy.

Step 4
Pour pudding into pie crust, then place in refrigerator for 3 hours to chill. The Cool-Whip or your choice of topping can then be added at serving time!

I made this for the very first time a few weeks ago and it was a huge hit, family said it was that thing just hit the sweet tooth but wasn't too sweet at the same time. I know the pictures are kinda fuzzy the lighting my kitchen is really dull and only have a small window .

If you try this recipe lemme know how you like it!
